Why We Are Different PDF Print E-mail

Leet Consulting.Understanding our approach to SEO and why we are different!

Search engine optimisation as it stands today is traditionally based upon trying to understand Google’s criteria and emulating it.

What is important to understand however is what Google is trying to achieve and moreover how it is trying to achieve it.In simple terms it is trying to understand human reaction to websites.Google reflects this “understanding” into an ever evolving series of complex formulas and equations. This has become known as Google’s algorithims. It is important to note that therefore it is trying to “reflect” reality but not drive it or indeed create it.

When a human visits a website, we normally get a feel for the website and how it “speaks” to us.Google cannot measure this qualitatively but can only reflect reactions in terms of a heap of formulas. It cannot determine exactly what we are reacting to and why.It can only approximate this via its analytic tools.Traditional SEO work attempts to anticipate these formulas by trying to play the Google game of cat and mouse. This game centres around trying to mimic google’s criteria which in itself is only a quantitative reflection.

Therefore traditional SEO is at best trying to keep up with a reflected mathematical version of reality. So our SEO approach is to become the reality that Google is trying to emulate in the first place. And this is done by optimising a site based upon how humans actually want to search and by making the search experience richer by providing that content.

And this is why most SEO companies will offer templated quotes full of jargon but moreover based on quantities of keywords rather than quality of keywords.

It is in the long tail keywords where the more deeper buyer intent is revealed and this requires a more qualitative approach and therefore a more human approach to uncover. Most companies if they optimise at all do so for the most obvious keyword phrases, but this typically does not reflect how these sites could or ought to be found. This way of approaching this whole topic is indicative of trying to approach it quantitatively.

When a qualitative approach is missing you end up with quotes from companies who spit you into a templated system and spew you out with a regimented and largely unthought out approach.

So instead of trying to mirror a mirror which you can say traditional SEO attempts to do we create the reality which the Google mirror is seeking to understand.
